About the museum
Taché Heritage Site is a municipally-designated historic site, housing a collection of items from French-Canadian and Métis cultures. These artifacts are presented in the Old Rectory Museum and in the Historic Church, both century-old buildings, situated on a tranquil 8 hectares of natural meadow and forest. The architecturally elegant buildings illustrate the traditional core of a typical French-Canadian village, such as those found across Canada.
